These are commonly caused by eczema or dermatitis and psoriasis. These conditions often require treatments with special prescribed creams and ointments. On occasion, in more severe cases, prescribed tablet medication is needed. Occasionally, localised psoriasis can be treated by the pulsed dye laser, to help control it.
