Fractional laser treatment

If your problem is one of fine lines and wrinkles or uneven skin colour and complexion, increased pore size, unsightly acne or other scarring then fractional laser treatment might be the right solution for your skin. Particularly effective in repairing acne scars and other scars, the procedure can also make a big difference with wrinkles, keratoses and pigmentation problems. It works well for all skin types, including dark skin or sensitive skin that marks easily. It’s ideally suited for the face, neck, décolletage and back of hands.

How does the treatment work?

Able to be tailored to the particular problem, fractional resurfacing involves a carbon dioxide laser directing micro-columns of infrared light to vaporise skin tissue. This stimulates a regenerative response in the skin to produce clearer, more vibrant and healthier looking skin. A computer-guided scanner accurately fixes the laser setting to give a precise and uniform effect on the skin. Most of the skin within the computer- controlled scanned pattern is left untreated so that the small treatment columns heal quickly, leading to rapid recovery from treatment and minimal down time.
